How to apply

Create a Foundant portal account and submit the appropriate general application. Some funds require supplemental information or separate applications. Complete every required section, document and recommendation by that fund’s deadline.

Who can apply

Primarily Delaware-connected undergraduate and graduate students, with some funds including adjacent Maryland, New Jersey or Pennsylvania counties. School, field, GPA, financial need and other restrictions vary.

Good to know

The current linked compendium is for 2026-27: the general application deadline was March 15, 2026, with exceptions. It allows multiple awards without a stated cap. Its instructions require enrollment evidence before payments to schools. The $1,001,500 figure is total 2025-26 funding across 237 students.
