CFWM scholarship application

DirectoryScholarship

This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.

Award
Up to $3,000 total in scholarships per student per award year. Awards cover one academic year; reapplication is required and future awards are not guaranteed.
Deadline
2027-28 dates not yet posted. The 2026-27 application ran January 1 to March 1, 2026.
How to apply
Submit one scholarship application with a recent official or unofficial transcript, applicable next-year FAFSA Submission Summary, MASFA or Hartford County AACTUS documentation, and at least one essay. Students ineligible for the listed aid forms should contact the Education Team. The foundation matches funds automatically; loans require a separate application.
Who can apply
Primarily Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden County residents, with some funds for Berkshire County, Hartford County, Connecticut or other areas. Eligible students generally attend accredited U.S. post-secondary institutions full or part time as undergraduates or graduate students; specific fund restrictions vary.
Good to know
About $1.4 million is aggregate annual scholarship funding. Awards are for one year and paid to the college after an acceptance form. Aid documentation must be for the upcoming academic year; the FAQ requests the full FAFSA summary, not only its confirmation page. Scholarship expenses are restricted to tuition and fees below six credits and tuition at for-profit institutions. The posted 2026-27 deadline was March 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., with no stated time zone.
