CFMC scholarship portal

This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.

Award

Many donor scholarships with varying amounts and renewal rules. Current examples include $2,000 one-time, $2,500 one-time and $8,000 total ($2,000 annually for four years); other funds list variable awards.

Deadline

Most scholarship opportunities open November 30, 2026, and close January 31, 2027. Some funds use other windows.

How to apply

Log in to the CFMC Scholarship Portal, take the eligibility quiz for each scholarship, and complete the full application if eligible.

Who can apply

Students tied to named Illinois schools/communities, mainly McHenry County; some funds serve Rolling Meadows/Wauconda and current library employees pursuing graduate study. Each fund has separate GPA, need, service, study and renewal criteria; no universal county-residency or GPA minimum.

Good to know

Most portal awards open November 30, 2026 and close January 31, 2027; some external funds still list 2026 dates and distinct processes. Notifications late March/early April 2027. Check the chosen fund’s page; this listing is a scholarship collection.
