ScholarshipCONNECT
DirectoryScholarship
This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.
- Award
- Individual scholarships vary; 2026-27 announcement gives one-time $1,000 awards through $10,000 renewable scholarships. Funds generally cover tuition, fees and books, not room/board; renewal conditions vary.
- Deadline
- Check back December 2026 for 2027-28 applications; exact closing date not published. Typical closing early March; reference letters within one week after application deadline. Prior announcement has inconsistent year wording, so do not use it as a 2027 deadline.
- How to apply
- Complete ScholarshipCONNECT general application, then select Opportunities/Ours and submit each eligible award’s added questions or essays. General submission alone does not apply to individual awards. Request required references; track uploads. Acceptance requires student ID, proof of enrollment and donor thank-you.
- Who can apply
- Graduating high school seniors and current college students in the Greater Dayton region (Montgomery, Miami, Greene, Darke, Preble and northern Warren counties). Individual funds have their own residency, school, major, merit and need rules.
- Good to know
- Some funds are merit-only; graduate/professional programs excluded. Trade/career-tech programs included. Renewables receive instructions each March, generally official transcript and year-summary essay due mid-June, with fund-specific college GPA. Foundation’s $3.6 million/1,497 recipient figures are aggregate historical funding.
