CFNJ Scholarships Universal Application

This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.

Award

More than 135 funds with variable individual awards. Examples include a $5,000 James Moody award offered each year, not a guaranteed annual renewal, and Daniel McKinney up to $20,000 total over four years.

Deadline

Open and close dates vary by scholarship; 2027 dates not yet posted.

How to apply

Fill out one universal application on the CFNJ GrantInterface portal, then review and apply to the scholarships you may qualify for. Some funds are not on the universal application.

Who can apply

Mostly graduating seniors, with some current college/graduate opportunities. Residency, school, major, GPA, need and affiliation vary; Bego example includes New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania residents. No universal New Jersey-residency or GPA requirement.

Good to know

Over $2 million to 271 scholars is aggregate funding. Renewable recipients must remain full-time at a U.S. institution in good standing. Four-installment awards require transcript, narrative and fall registration by July 15; installments of $5,000+ also require final bill, with August 15 extension. Eight-installment awards require fall materials/bill by August 15 and spring transcript, registration/bill by January 15. Dates recur without cycle year; no reminders sent.
