- 125+ scholarships, including 55+ in the consolidated application. FAQ gives examples from $250 one-time to $40,000 total ($10,000 annually for four years), with fund-specific conditions. Partial educational support, not a guarantee of full cost.
- Timeline
- Dec 1Consolidated application -February 28 annually, year unstated
- Oct 15Portal deadline with no time zone. Individual scholarships have different dates. Required payment documents generally due of award year unless advance deferral approved.
- How to apply
- Complete the consolidated portal application and all matched fund supplements, including required essays, recommendations and unofficial transcript. Upload documents through portal; no paper/email attachments or late extensions. Other funds apply through separate portal, school or community process; some require nomination codes.
- Who can apply
- Mostly Rochester-area residents, with donor-specific school, geographic, major and merit/need criteria. Accredited U.S. colleges, universities and technical/trade schools may qualify. No universal GPA or statewide-residence criterion.
- Good to know
- Awards generally paid to school after enrollment and verification. Renewables require satisfactory progress and their specified documents; approved written deferral may allow up to one year. Notify Foundation before transfer, withdrawal or change of use; fund-specific restrictions/refunds apply. Need review permits estimator or family financial information when FAFSA is unavailable.
