EPIC Scholars Application
DirectoryScholarship
This is a group of awards reached through one application. Each award inside it has its own rules.
- Award
- Over 90 donor scholarship opportunities with differing individual amounts, duration and renewal. Selected renewable funds require annual or semester follow-up; no common collection-wide award.
- Deadline
- 2027 EPIC opening/closing dates not published. Page still carries 2022-23 application dates and 2025 renewal dates; do not treat February 24 as a confirmed next-cycle deadline. Individual funds differ.
- How to apply
- Complete EPIC Scholars portal application for matches; separately submit individual scholarships. Upload current official/unofficial transcript with name, school, latest grades and cumulative GPA; named Duncan funds require official transcript. Complete selected fund’s essays/references and all other tasks by deadline.
- Who can apply
- High-school seniors, current college students and returning adults, with fund-specific geography, affiliation, GPA, need and enrollment criteria. Some accept part-time students; no common full-time or Texas-residence rule. Funds generally support eligible U.S. institutions, not international colleges.
- Good to know
- Legacy has a separate junior route for Bexar/Webb County students. Foundation stopped administering Whataburger Family Foundation employee fund June 30, 2026; follow the linked new administrator. Renewable funds require their GPA/enrollment and follow-up application; some named funds have probation exceptions. Transfer payments depend on school restrictions and return of original funding.
