- How to apply
- Submit the Florida Financial Aid Application during senior year and track award status. Arrange official school transcript, qualifying test scores and school-certified volunteer/work documentation. Send ACT/SAT scores to a Florida public college/state university or use the stated OSFA reporting option; PERT scores appear on the official transcript.

- Who can apply
- Florida residents who are U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens and meet Florida diploma/equivalency rules. Required 3.0 weighted GPA in non-elective high school courses, 3.5 unweighted GPA in three full CTE credits, and all subtest minima in one exam type: ACT Reading 19/English 17/Math 19; SAT EBRW 490/Math 480; or PERT Reading 106/Writing 103/Math 114. Complete 30 volunteer hours, 100 paid work hours or a 100-hour combination; students entering grade 9 in 2024-25 or later need 75 volunteer hours for that route. Enroll at least six non-remedial credits in an eligible Florida career/technical program, with specified final-program exceptions.
- Good to know
- GSV funds ATD, AS/AAS, CCC and career certificates; it does not fund AA or bachelor’s programs. Maximum 100% of program hours, up to 72 semester hours (60 for ATDs), within five years after graduation. Renewal is automatically evaluated and requires 2.75 unrounded/unweighted cumulative GPA plus earned credits based on funded enrollment (12/9/6 per full/three-quarter/half-time term). Withdrawn-course reimbursement and limited first-year GPA restoration/emergency exceptions apply. Gold Seal CAPE is a separate award.
