Unitil STEM Scholarships
Merit + needScholarship
Financial need is part of how this award is decided, alongside merit.
- Award
- Five public scholarships of $5,000 each for the first year of undergraduate STEM study. In 2026 a sixth award went to an employee's child; that separate award is not a general public slot.

- How to apply

- What you'll need
- A separate scholarship application
- Recommendations
- An essay
- Who can apply
- High school seniors who live in and attend school in eligible Unitil service-territory towns in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine and who declare a STEM major.
