- Universal application reopens in January 2027. 2026 fund deadlines ranged from February 13 to May 15.
- How to apply
- Use the CFT universal portal application and complete each fund’s required financial section, essays, recommendations, transcript or other documents. Requirements differ; no documents are accepted outside the portal or after the fund deadline.
- Who can apply
- Primarily North Texas students, with some statewide, national and other-state school or employer funds. High school, undergraduate, graduate and vocational opportunities have different residence, citizenship, GPA, testing, need and enrollment rules.
- Good to know
- The application page confirms reopening in January 2027 but still lists 2026 donor deadlines. Published donor examples have different award and continuation rules; one C.V.M. entry conflicts between $10,000 and $15,000. Aggregate foundation funding and recipient counts are not individual award values.
