Requires at least three academic years and five separate semesters of AFNR instruction in grades 9–12, SAT 1000 or ACT 19 without superscoring, top half of the class, and receipt or successful application for the current Lone Star Degree. Must intend to attend a Texas college or university that fall. Some donors require higher class rank or an approved major. Terry Foundation recipients are ineligible.
- Good to know
- More than 140 scholarships and approximately $2.4 million are aggregate annual program totals, not individual award amounts. Awards are ranked using academics, FFA experience, financial need and interviews; candidates cannot select a donor scholarship. The 2027 page requests the 2026–27 FAFSA, which may conflict with the entering college year. Confirm the required FAFSA year. Individual donor terms vary.
